The postcard represents the new addition put into the Beverly Farms public library in 2004. It is important because it stresses the significance of literature in life. The library also adds a since of community to Beverly Farms, now done in a nicer environment with a more spacious meeting room and a larger selection for children.
The Beverly Farms Public Library may seem like a small contribution to the town of Beverly, but it does more than one would expect. On a smaller scale they help the small community of Beverly Farms. The library provides education programs for the children and exhibits the are of local schools. They have story time for children and book discussion groups for adults. The library is a place where many meetings and important fundraisers for the town of Beverly Farms occur. The library is also used on a larger scale. Their book selection is available for the whole city of Beverly to borrow and enjoy. Their programs are also taken from a larger spectrum. The programs and exhibits available contain visits from education people outside of Beverly, or are inspired by authors from distant areas. The Beverly Farms Public Library meets together from a small scale to a large scale to incorporate literature into people’s everyday lives.
The role of Beverly Farms Public Library will stay consistent throughout the future. Its new construction enables it to last in a way it wouldn’t of before, and allowed the space it needs to grow and host even more events. The building will remain a library because of its history in the city of Beverly, being erected in the year of 1915. It has been a significant since its construction in 1915 and will remain significant for many generations to come. The Beverly Farms Public Library has been an important fixture in the tight-knit area of Beverly Farms and wil continue to do so because of its influence on the community.
