PATH I: Investigating Civil War Soldiers from Beverly

A very early Wednesday morning class at the Beverly Library

From the Local History Room at the public library we obtained the Beverly Civil War enlistment lists from 1861 through 1865.   We started with 684 names, which we alphabetized, to create a database.   (We later added to this list).   The library has the microfilm of the 1860 census population.  We printed the Beverly names from the microfilm, and began our project in which our goal is to link the enlistment lists with the demographic information from the census.
