The rose Garden in Lynch Park is very historical and plays a huge role in the history of Lynch Park. The site where the Rose Garden is now was where President Taft’s summer home was, but the house was moved and the area was made into an Italian Rose Garden. The Rose Garden is known as the garden in Lynch Park where people go to get married, look at, take pictures, and much more because of it’s view showing the Atlantic Ocean and all of the flowers and statues that fills the Garden. The Rose garden should be always remembered because it’s part of Beverly’s history when it was famous for the rich coming to Beverly for the summer, like President Taft who’s summer home was before the Rose Garden was built.
The Rose Garden is just a small part of Beverly’s history. The area of the Rose Garden has always been historical because it was the area for president Taft’s summer home, and then it was turned into the rose garden. Lynch Park is a big area of land along the coast of Beverly that is famous for summer visitors and the Rose Garden is a small part of it. During the Transportation Revolution, there were new advances in transportation and more people were able to visit areas during the summer and Beverly was a popular spot for visitors. Inside Lynch Park is the garden that has a lot of history in it.

When was the rose garden first planted? When the Friendly Garden Club of Beverly was formed in 1936, did it have any part in the development of Lynch Park or the Rose Garden?
