John
Updike
John Updike was born in the small Pennsylvania town of Shillington in 1932. He is internationally known for his novels RABBIT RUN (1960), RABBIT REDUX (1971), RABBIT IS RICH (1981), and RABBIT AT REST (1990). In 1982 Updike moved to a house in Beverly Farms, which is described, along with its surrounding environment in his novel, TOWARD THE END OF TIME. Presently still living in Beverly, Updike continues to write and publish work in his Beverly Farms home. John Updike's novels, poetry and short stories are read worldwide. Lauren Colanto
