Sir,

Agreeably to the directions of the General Court I have the Honor to inform you of your being elected by joint Ballot of the two branches of the General Court, agreeably to the Constitution to serve as a Delegate from this Commonwealth in the United States in Congress assembled for one year to commence on the first Monday of November next.
